This is the biggest sporting event to hit South Africa since the 2010 FIFA World Cup! Be a part of the action!
South Africa is synonymous with the British & Irish Lions. It is where the modern-day legend of the Lions was cast into history thanks to the feats of Willie John McBride’s invincibles in 1974 and the triumph sealed under Martin Johnson in 1997.
But there is more to South Africa than simply rugby. It is a remarkable holiday destination, combining nature, outdoor adventure, history and dramatic landscapes.
It is one of the continents best safari destinations but nature isn’t limited to the wilderness. Along the coasts are seals, whales and great white sharks. There is also life-affirming history – from the museums of Johannesburg to Robben Island, you will understand the fabric of South Africa and appreciate how far the country has come.
And with wonderful wine from Stellenbosch, fantastic steak and adrenalin-fuelled adventures, South Africa is not only a country of contrasts, it’s a wonderful place to explore and discover on the Lions tour of a lifetime.
