This unforgettable journey through Southern Africa begins with a restful overnight stay near Johannesburg Airport—an ideal way to recharge after your international flight.
Your adventure kicks off in Botswana with a short flight to Chobe, where you’ll spend two nights enjoying both river cruise safaris and game drives through the renowned Chobe National Park, home to one of the largest elephant populations in Africa.
Next, cross the border into Zimbabwe and meet up with your Ntaba group for a two-night stay in Victoria Falls. Here, you’ll witness the breathtaking waterfall that gives the town its name, enjoy a magical sunset dinner cruise on the Zambezi River, and soak up the vibrant energy of this iconic destination.
From Victoria Falls, fly to Cape Town—affectionately known as the “Mother City.” Over three nights, you’ll discover the city’s many highlights, including a cable car ride up Table Mountain, a visit to a local wine estate, a scenic drive to the Cape of Good Hope, and a stop at Boulders Beach to see the charming African penguin colony.
To complete your safari experience, you’ll fly to Hoedspruit and spend three nights at a private lodge in the Greater Kruger National Park area. This region offers some of the best game viewing in South Africa, and your stay will be filled with thrilling wildlife encounters and relaxing moments in the heart of the bush.

Overnight USA to Africa
Upon arrival at O.R. Tambo International Airport, proceed through passport control, collect your luggage, and clear customs. You’ll be met by your local escort and guided on a short walk to the City Lodge O.R. Tambo Hotel, conveniently located adjacent to the airport terminal.
Check into your standard room for 1 night, with breakfast included. Dinner is at your own expense, giving you the flexibility to dine at the hotel restaurant or explore nearby options.
Settle in and relax after your international flight—your Southern African adventure begins tomorrow!
After breakfast and check-out, make your way on foot to the Johannesburg Airport terminal to check in for your Airlink flight 4Z 306, departing at 11:50 AM for Kasane, Botswana. As this is an international flight, please arrive at the airport at least three hours before departure.
Upon landing in Kasane at 1:40 PM, you’ll be met and transferred to Chobe Safari Lodge, your home for the next two nights. After checking in, enjoy a relaxing lunch before heading out on your first game activity—a sunset boat cruise on the Chobe River.
This magical experience offers the chance to spot elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and a wide array of birdlife as the sun sets over the water. Return to the lodge for dinner and your first overnight stay in Botswana.
Spend the day immersed in the incredible wildlife of Chobe National Park, enjoying two guided game activities—a river safari and a game drive. With one of the highest concentrations of elephants in Africa and diverse ecosystems along the Chobe Riverfront, your chances of witnessing unforgettable wildlife encounters are high.
Return to the lodge for delicious meals and time to unwind between activities.
After your morning game drive and breakfast, you’ll be transferred by road across the border into Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Please have $30 USD in cash ready to pay for your single-entry Zimbabwe visa at the border post.
Once across, meet your Zimbabwean transfer guide and continue to Insika Lodge, where you’ll check into your luxury room for a 2-night stay. The rest of the Ntaba group will arrive in the early afternoon—this is a great time to connect and get to know your fellow travelers.
A light lunch is available at the lodge (at your own expense).
Later this afternoon, you’ll be transferred to the Zambezi River for an unforgettable luxury Sunset Dinner Cruise aboard the Malachite vessel. Watch wildlife along the riverbanks and take in spectacular sunset views while enjoying a three-course dinner and drinks served on board.
Return to the lodge around 8:30 PM for a restful night.
After breakfast, depart at 8:00 AM for the Wild Horizons Elephant Sanctuary. Enjoy a hands-on experience with rescued elephants—learn their stories, interact with them, and take memorable photos. Light refreshments, including drinks and canapés, will be served afterwards.
Continue to the Victoria Falls for a guided tour of this iconic natural wonder, followed by lunch at the Lookout Café overlooking the gorge (including drinks at your own expense). Optional adrenaline activities, such as the Gorge Swing or Flying Fox, are available on-site.
Visit the local craft market, then return to the lodge to relax.
In the evening, transfer to The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show for a lively night of traditional food, music, and entertainment. Return to the lodge for overnight.
Day 7
After breakfast, transfer to Victoria Falls Airport to check in for your Airlink flight 4Z 391, departing at 1:25 PM for Cape Town. Upon arrival at 4:30 PM, clear passport control and customs, then transfer to the Portswood Hotel, located on the vibrant Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Check into your standard room for a 3-night stay, including breakfast. The evening is free to relax or explore, with dinner at your own expense.
Day 8
After breakfast, set off with your private driver and guide to explore Cape Town. Take the Table Mountain Cable Car (weather permitting) or visit Signal Hill as an alternative. Stop by The Diamond Works for a fascinating diamond-cutting demonstration and browse handcrafted jewelry and local art.
Continue with a guided city tour, including highlights like the colorful Bo-Kaap neighborhood. Then, head to Groot Constantia Wine Estate for lunch, wine tasting, and a cellar tour. Afterwards, visit the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning Indigenous flora.
Return to the hotel for a free evening—enjoy the shops, restaurants, and attractions of the V&A Waterfront. Dinner is on your own account.
After breakfast, depart with your private driver and guide for a full-day tour along the stunning Cape Peninsula. Begin with a scenic drive to Hout Bay, then continue along the dramatic Chapman’s Peak Drive—one of the most breathtaking coastal routes in the world.
Visit Cape Point, the most south-western tip of the African continent. Walk to the top for panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding landscapes.
Next, stop at Boulders Beach to see the charming African penguin colony up close. Enjoy lunch at a local seaside restaurant overlooking False Bay (on your own account), then return to your hotel for a free evening. Dinner is at your own expense.
Day 10
After an early breakfast, meet your driver for a transfer to Cape Town International Airport. Check-in for your Airlink flight 4Z 657, departing at 10:30 AM for Hoedspruit in the Greater Kruger Park. Upon arrival at 1:00 PM, you’ll be met and transferred to Shiduli Private Game Lodge in the Karongwe Private Game Reserve.
Check into your luxury room for a 3-night stay. After lunch, head out on your first-afternoon game drive, where you may spot Africa’s famed Big Five—elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, and leopard.
Days 11–12
Experience the rhythm of safari life:
Early morning game drives depart just after sunrise when wildlife is most active. Keep an eye out for the big cats still roaming after a night of hunting.
Return to the lodge for breakfast and enjoy free time to relax, swim, or book a treatment at the onsite spa.
In the late afternoon, gather for high tea before your second game drive of the day. As the sun sets, enjoy a sundowner out in the bush before heading back for a delicious dinner at the lodge.

After your final morning game drive and breakfast, check out and transfer to Hoedspruit Airport for your Airlink flight 4Z874, departing at 2:30 PM for Johannesburg.
Arrive at O.R. Tambo International Airport at 3:30 PM, where you’ll connect with your overnight international flight back to the USA.
