Days 3–4: Victoria Falls Adventure & Elephant Encounter

After breakfast, check out and walk to the airport to check in for Airlink Flight 4Z 494, departing Johannesburg at 11:35 AM for Victoria Falls. As this is an international flight, arrive 3 hours prior, and have $30 USD cash ready for your Zimbabwe visa upon arrival at 1:30 PM.

After clearing customs, you’ll be met and transferred to Insika Lodge to check into your luxury room for a 2-night stay.

Cap off the experience with canapés and drinks, including local wines, beers, and soft beverages.

You’ll then be transferred to the Lookout Café for lunch (included; drinks on your own account), with the option to try adrenaline activities such as the Gorge Swing or Flying Fox (optional, at own cost).

Return to the lodge to relax before your evening transfer to The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show. Enjoy a festive evening of traditional food, music, and entertainment, then return to the lodge for overnight.

Day 6 – Table Mountain, City Tour & Wine Tasting

Head to Groot Constantia Wine Estate for lunch, wine tasting, and a cellar tour. In the afternoon, explore Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to a stunning array of indigenous plants.

Return to your hotel and enjoy a free evening at the V&A Waterfront.

Day 7 – Cape Peninsula Exploration

Return to your hotel for a relaxed evening.

Enjoy lunch and your first game drive that afternoon. You will have the chance to see the Big 5 – elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard.

A typical day in the Game Reserve:

Each morning, expect an early wake-up call. Gather for refreshments before heading out at first light. The “big cats” may still be around after their night of hunting. Game drives are conducted in open game vehicles with your skilled ranger and tracker, who will help you find the animals of Africa to admire. Between your morning and afternoon game drives, have some free time to relax or be treated at the Spa. Late afternoon, convene for high tea before departing for the day’s second African Bush Safari. Enjoy a sundowner drink along the way, step out of the vehicle to stretch your legs, and take in the sunset. Return to the lodge for dinner.
