From most other US destinations (e.g., Washington D.C., New York, L.A., Miami, or San Francisco), you can fly via a European capital with a European carrier such as British Airways, KLM, Air France, or United. Alternatively, some Middle Eastern carriers, such as Emirates and Etihad, also fly into the USA.
Once in South Africa, the most convenient way to reach the Garden Route is by flying to George Airport (GRJ) or Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport (PLZ) in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth).
