South Africa – Wine, Wildlife & Wonder
From the cosmopolitan buzz of Cape Town to the untamed wilderness of the Greater Kruger Area, South Africa is a land of contrasts and unforgettable experiences. Sip world-class vintages in the Cape Winelands, take in panoramic views from the top of Table Mountain, and venture out on sunrise game drives in search of the Big Five. Our women-only trips are designed to strike a balance between adventure and comfort, featuring thoughtfully curated experiences and meaningful cultural connections along the way.
Perfect for: First-time visitors, food and wine lovers, luxury-seekers
Top Moment: Watching the sun dip into the Atlantic from atop Table Mountain, surrounded by new friends and a panoramic view of Cape Town.

Zambia – Wild, Raw, and Remarkably Real
If you’re looking to go beyond the usual safari circuit, Zambia offers something truly special. Known as the birthplace of the walking safari, it invites you to experience wildlife up close in a way that’s both safe and unforgettable. Explore remote, less-traveled reserves by day with expert local guides, and unwind each evening in the comfort of intimate lodges with warm hospitality and candlelit dinners. Our women-only groups also have the opportunity to engage with inspiring local women—entrepreneurs, artists, and community leaders, who are shaping the future of rural Zambia.
Perfect for: Adventurous spirits, seasoned travelers, off-the-grid enthusiasts
Top Moment: Sharing stories with your group around a fire as the night comes alive with distant lion calls and the sparkle of a million stars overhead

Ethiopia – A Journey Through Time and Resilience
Ethiopia offers a distinctly different African journey—one steeped in ancient history, spiritual tradition, and vibrant living culture. Discover the awe-inspiring rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, savor richly spiced local dishes in women-run kitchens, and stroll through colorful markets filled with handcrafted textiles, pottery, and everyday life. On our women-only trips, you’ll also connect with local women who are preserving ancestral knowledge and leading meaningful change in their communities, offering a deeper, more personal perspective on this remarkable country.
Perfect for: History lovers, spiritual travelers, those seeking cultural immersion
Top Moment: Hearing the haunting chants of an early morning church service echo through the stone halls of Lalibela.

Zimbabwe & Victoria Falls – Culture Meets Natural Wonder
Feel the spray on your skin at Victoria Falls—one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World—then journey deeper into Zimbabwe’s vibrant landscapes. Our safaris here strike a balance between exhilarating wildlife encounters in Hwange or Mana Pools and authentic cultural exchanges. Visit local craft markets and women-led community projects, learn about Zimbabwean heritage from those who live it, and drift off to sleep to the sounds of elephants passing by your tented camp.
Perfect for: Nature lovers, photographers, culturally curious travelers
Top Moment: Sharing stories around a campfire with local women guides under the stars.

1. Book Early—Especially for Small-Group Women-Only Safaris
Our group departures are intentionally small, offering a more intimate and connected experience, often limited to just 8–12 travellers. These trips can fill up fast, especially during peak safari seasons (May–October and January–March). Booking early also provides you with more flexibility regarding flights, accommodations, and room preferences.
2. Go Beyond the Big Five
Lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo are amazing, but some of the most meaningful safari moments come from the unexpected. Think: a baby giraffe learning to walk, colorful birds in flight, or a peaceful sunset shared with your group after an unforgettable day.
3. Don’t Overpack—Stick to the Essentials
Safari lodges often offer laundry service, and domestic flights have strict baggage limits (usually 33–44 lbs, soft-sided bags only). Pack lightweight layers, a sunhat, and comfortable walking shoes; leave bulky or formal items at home.
4. Say Yes to Cultural Experiences
Our itineraries blend wildlife adventures with authentic human connections. You’ll visit women-led artisan workshops, enjoy traditional cooking classes, and hear powerful stories from locals. These experiences add richness and meaning to your journey.
5. Make Sure Your Travel Insurance Covers Safari Activities
Not all policies include safari-specific activities, such as bush walks, small plane flights, or park visits. Choose a comprehensive plan that includes medical evacuation, trip cancellation, and baggage coverage—just in case.
6. Book With a Local Safari Company (Like Us!)
Ntaba is African-owned and operated with over 20 years of experience. We know the land, the people, and the wildlife—plus we offer hands-on support before, during, and after your trip. You’ll feel safe, cared for, and fully immersed in the real Africa.
7. Embrace the Safari Pace
Africa moves at its own rhythm. Early mornings, afternoon siestas, and spontaneous wildlife sightings are all part of the adventure. There’s magic in slowing down and being fully present—you’ll return home feeling renewed and inspired.
8. Ask Questions—We’re Here for You
Not sure if you need hiking shoes? Curious about travel documents or dietary options? Just ask. Our team is here to make sure you feel 100% ready and excited about your upcoming journey.

When you consider booking with us, you’re more than just a number. We begin with Zoom meetings to discuss your safari in detail, answer all your questions, and ensure we understand your desires for the trip. As your departure date approaches, we set up a dedicated WhatsApp group to keep in touch and provide real-time updates, ensuring you feel supported at every step.
To keep your adventure organized and stress-free, we offer an app that downloads and makes your entire itinerary easily accessible. No matter where you are, all your journey details are at your fingertips.
Every Ntaba African Safari is fully guided by experts who are passionate about sharing Africa’s wonders with you. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. Each itinerary is customized to match your interests, and your input is valued every step of the way.
As a family-owned business, Robin and Stella Mountain pour their heart and soul into making your safari an unforgettable experience. With Ntaba African Safaris, you’re not just traveling but joining a family dedicated to crafting the perfect African adventure and sharing our passion and knowledge of Africa.
