N’Taba designed and arranged our 2+ week African adventure  They did a wonderful job of juxtaposing city stays with African safaris. We began our journey in Johannesburg.  We did a city tour and then spent some time at the Apartheid museum We left Johannesburg with an understanding and appreciation of the history and culture of South Africa. We then flew to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and had checked into Old Drift Lodge which was a 5 star tented game lodge on the Zimbaze river. Excellent food and accommodations, morning and evening game drives, sunrise and sunset cruises on the river as well as an early morning hike at Victoria Falls (breathless) and lunch overlooking the falls. We then flew to Cape Town and stayed three nights at the waterfront. Great city tour by Des who was knowledgeable and passionate and we developed a more in depth understanding of the history, culture and past and present politics. A visit to a penguin colony was something we always wanted  to do and it did not disappoint! Spent a day in the wine country (Stellenbosch) exploring (and tasting) at beautiful vineyards.  A memorable lunch at one of the vineyards was included.  We then flew to Sabi Sands preserve and spent four glorious days at Savannah Lodge. We thought we had experienced a safari at Victoria Falls but the safari in Sabi Sands was another level. The Lodge was a level of expertise and luxury never imagined and the game drives unbelievable. We were paired with the same Ranger and Tracker (Derek and Kelley) for all four days (8 game drives). We thought each drive could not be surpassed.  Until the next one!  We saw the big five (elephants, buffalos, rhinos, leopards and lions) on a daily basis and were able to see elephants, lions and rhinos nursing!
Everything was seamless. All flights and transports on time as scheduled. Communication on WhatsApp as necessary. The itinerary, the travel schedule and their choice of lodging were impeccable. We had the time of our life! We thought that this was a trip of a lifetime but we are already talking about another trip to Africa. Ntaba was wonderful to work with, they helped me plan a custom private tour for my clients who were thrilled with the results. I was especially impressed when things went wrong, the client accidentally left her passport on the transfer vehicle when arriving in South Africa at 11:30pm. Ntaba knows how to take you to Africa because they are natives to South Africa. Their passion for Africa shines through, not just because it's their business, but because it's their home. You can tell the owners and the guides have a true passion for sharing their home with others. They've established incredible relationships with the local businesses, tour vendors, and locals to the point, it seemed everywhere we went, our group leader was greeted with either a big smile, a hug, handshake or all of the above. I felt we were in good hands because of this. Stella and her staff were absolutely fantastic in arranging our first African Safari. Their attention to detail was superb and our resulting experience was even better.  Starting in Johannesburg with a wonderful boutique hotel then on to Victoria Falls, Savute Safari Lodge, Camp Okavango, then Camp Moremi, our memories will last a lifetime. Each step was carefully orchestrated with each Camp’s staffs fully briefed and prepared for our arrival. We saw tons of animals and made lifelong friends with other travelers from around the world. 1. Book Early—Especially for Small-Group Women-Only Safaris

Our group departures are intentionally small, offering a more intimate and connected experience, often limited to just 8–12 travellers. These trips can fill up fast, especially during peak safari seasons (May–October and January–March). Booking early also provides you with more flexibility regarding flights, accommodations, and room preferences.

2. Go Beyond the Big Five

Lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo are amazing, but some of the most meaningful safari moments come from the unexpected. Think: a baby giraffe learning to walk, colorful birds in flight, or a peaceful sunset shared with your group after an unforgettable day.

3. Don’t Overpack—Stick to the Essentials

Safari lodges often offer laundry service, and domestic flights have strict baggage limits (usually 33–44 lbs, soft-sided bags only). Pack lightweight layers, a sunhat, and comfortable walking shoes; leave bulky or formal items at home.

4. Say Yes to Cultural Experiences
