1. Book Early—Especially for Small-Group Women-Only Safaris

Our group departures are intentionally small, offering a more intimate and connected experience, often limited to just 8–12 travellers. These trips can fill up fast, especially during peak safari seasons (May–October and January–March). Booking early also provides you with more flexibility regarding flights, accommodations, and room preferences.

2. Go Beyond the Big Five

Lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo are amazing, but some of the most meaningful safari moments come from the unexpected. Think: a baby giraffe learning to walk, colorful birds in flight, or a peaceful sunset shared with your group after an unforgettable day.

Safari lodges often offer laundry service, and domestic flights have strict baggage limits (usually 33–44 lbs, soft-sided bags only). Pack lightweight layers, a sunhat, and comfortable walking shoes; leave bulky or formal items at home.
