Your adventure begins in Usa River, near Arusha, where you will be warmly welcomed upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Settle into your lodge for your first evening in Tanzania, enjoying dinner and a restful night before your safari adventure begins. Journey into Tarangire National Park for 3 nights, travelling in private 4×4 safari vehicles with pop-up roofs and exploring one of Tanzania’s most captivating wildlife areas. Known for its magnificent baobab trees, diverse landscapes and abundant elephant populations, Tarangire offers incredible opportunities for game viewing and unforgettable encounters with Africa’s wildlife. Continue to the remarkable Ngorongoro Crater, descending onto the crater floor for a morning of game viewing among one of Africa’s most extraordinary natural landscapes. Surrounded by the dramatic crater walls, keep watch for an abundance of wildlife before returning to the crater rim for an overnight stay overlooking this incredible UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your safari then takes to the skies as you fly by small aircraft into the Northern Serengeti, where you will spend 4 nights immersed in the heart of the Great Migration. Based near the Kogatende area, enjoy game drives in search of the spectacular wildlife that gathers here during migration season, with the possibility of witnessing dramatic river crossings. Each day brings new opportunities to experience the Serengeti’s extraordinary landscapes, predators, plains game and the ever-changing rhythm of the migration. On Day 10, your main Tanzania safari concludes with a flight from the Northern Serengeti to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward journey home. Alternatively, extend your African adventure with an optional Gorilla Trek in Rwanda. Fly from the Northern Serengeti to Kigali, Rwanda, before transferring into the lush landscapes of Volcanoes National Park. Spend 2 nights in the area, preparing for one of Africa’s most profound wildlife experiences — trekking through the forest in search of the magnificent mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Following your gorilla trek, visit the Iby’iwacu Cultural Village, a community development and conservation project that offers a meaningful connection to the people and culture of Rwanda. Enjoy some time at leisure before returning to Kigali for your onward international flight home. From the sweeping plains of the Serengeti and the dramatic Ngorongoro Crater to the ancient baobabs of Tarangire and, optionally, the misty forests of Rwanda, this journey brings together some of East Africa’s most remarkable wildlife experiences.       Our travelers began their journey with a warm welcome in Kigali, Rwanda. Where their journey began with a taste of the country’s renowned hospitality before traveling onward into the lush landscapes of Volcanoes National Park.

      Humbled by the raw, untamed beauty of Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park and deeply moved by the opportunity to witness these gentle giants in their natural habitat. It was a powerful and deeply personal experience.

      For us at Ntaba African Safaris, this journey was about so much more than the destinations. It was about sharing Africa with our travelers, witnessing their excitement, creating meaningful experiences together, and one that reminded us of the honour of entering these wild spaces and sharing them with the Ntaba Travelers.

      We returned from this journey grateful and humbled by the raw beauty of Rwanda, the untamed wilderness of Volcanoes National Park, the extraordinary encounter with the Mountain Gorillas.
