“Africa isn’t a place you visit. It’s a place you feel. It’s the swish of a zebra’s tail, the silent plodding of an elephant’s footsteps, the grunting of huge wildebeest herds punctuated by the songs of birds overhead, the steely gaze of a lion surveying the savanna, and so much more. Feeling a little melancholy this morning. Such a wonderful experience.

Seventy countries and all seven continents under my belt, but gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park with Ntaba African Safaris was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The hike up the mountain through dense vegetation along muddy paths only added to the mystique of the gorillas. The first “explosion” of a silverback out of the forest was worth every muddy step.

JUST BREATHTAKING!! We were able to observe a large family unit spanning all ages.

The expertise and experience of Robin John Mountain, the team of trackers and rangers assured our safety. There are really no words to adequately describe the experience. Rwanda is a safe, beautiful country with amazing people. Let Ntaba take you to Africa.
