Ntaba was wonderful to work with, they helped me plan a custom private tour for my clients who were thrilled with the results. I was especially impressed when things went wrong, the client accidentally left her passport on the transfer vehicle when arriving in South Africa at 11:30pm. I was able to get a hold of team members at Ntaba and within 12 hours she had it back in her possession! That is a great support system you can count on!

As a travel advisor, I’ve worked with Ntaba African Safaris to plan several safaris for my clients, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Their professionalism and organization are top-notch—every itinerary is thoughtfully designed, and logistics are always seamless. The team is incredibly responsive and always available to answer questions or jump on a Zoom call, which makes the planning process smooth and stress-free. My clients consistently rave about their experiences, describing their safaris as “the trip of a lifetime.” The overwhelmingly positive feedback and repeat bookings speak volumes. If you want a safari planning partner who is reliable, communicative, and truly cares about delivering exceptional experiences, Ntaba is the best choice!

Ntaba knows how to take you to Africa because they are natives to South Africa. Their passion for Africa shines through, not just because it's their business, but because it's their home. You can tell the owners and the guides have a true passion for sharing their home with others. They've established incredible relationships with the local businesses, tour vendors, and locals to the point, it seemed everywhere we went, our group leader was greeted with either a big smile, a hug, handshake or all of the above. I felt we were in good hands because of this. I would trust them with my Africa travel any day because it's their home and because of the incredible network of relationships they've established in each of their destinations.

We had an amazing time in South Africa and Zimbabwe with Ntaba African Safaris. The itinerary was well planned in that it offered a variety of experiences in each place, and the time we had in each place was ample enough to enjoy each experience. Visiting Africa has been a lifeline bucket list item and I am so thankful to Ntaba for making it a truly amazing experience.

Stella and her staff were absolutely fantastic in arranging our first African Safari. Their attention to detail was superb and our resulting experience was even better. Starting in Johannesburg with a wonderful boutique hotel then on to Victoria Falls, Savute Safari Lodge, Camp Okavango, then Camp Moremi, our memories will last a lifetime. Each step was carefully orchestrated with each Camp’s staffs fully briefed and prepared for our arrival. We saw tons of animals and made lifelong friends with other travelers from around the world. Great experience. I would encourage everyone to go at least once and ANTABA African Safaris is a great provider. Jim & Toni McIntyre

The itinerary, the local guides, the wildlife, and the amazing new friends made, were all fantastic. The experiences were positively life changing. The sunrises and sunsets were stunning. My daughter and I experienced what we know was the trip of lifetime, and we are grateful. If you are thinking about a trip to Africa, stop thinking and do it!

Return to your hotel for the overnight.

Day 5: Mossel Bay

After breakfast at the hotel, depart with your private driver/guide and travel over the Outeniqua Mountain Range to Oudtshoorn. Visit an ostrich farm and the Cango Caves if they interest you. On your way back to Mossel Bay, visit Jakkalsvlei, a wine farm in Herbertsdale.

Day 6: Cape Town

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After check-out, visit the Diaz Museum and the Post Office Tree to learn about the area’s history. Explore Mossel Bay and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (on your own account).

Day 7: Cape Town

Visit The Diamond Works for a diamond cutting demonstration. You will find exquisitely unique hand-crafted jewelry pieces, authentic African craft, décor and gift items. Take a City Tour and see some of the places of interest in South Africa’s “Mother City”, such as Bokaap, before proceeding to the Groot Constantia Wine Estate, the oldest wine estate in South Africa, for a cellar tour and a wine tasting of some of their locally-grown wines.

Day 8: Cape Town

After breakfast, depart from your hotel with your private driver/guide. Travel along the beautiful coast to Hout Bay. Continue driving along the spectacular Chapman’s Peak Drive. Visit Cape Point, the most south-western point of the African Continent. Walk to the top of the mountain and enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean and the surrounding area.

Visit the local African Penguin Colony at Boulders Beach. Afterwards, you can enjoy lunch at a local restaurant overlooking False Bay. In the afternoon, visit the Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy this beautiful garden and the diverse selection of local plants and flowers. At the exit of the garden is a gift shop worth browsing through.

Days 9-12: Kruger Private Reserves

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and be transferred to the Cape Town Airport to check in for your flight to Hoedspruit in the Greater Kruger Park. Upon arrival at the Hoedspruit Airport, be met and transferred to Imagine Africa Luxury Tented Camp in the Balule Private Game Reserve. Check into your luxury tent for 4 nights. Enjoy lunch and your first game drive that afternoon. You will have the chance to see the Big 5 – elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard.

A typical day in the Game Reserve:

Each morning, expect an early wake-up call. Gather for refreshments before heading out at first light. The “big cats” may still be around after their night of hunting. Game drives are conducted in open game vehicles with your skilled ranger and tracker to find the animals of Africa for you to admire. Between your morning and afternoon game drives, have some free time to relax or be treated at the Spa. Late afternoon, convene for high tea, before departing for the day’s second African Bush Safari. Enjoy a sundowner drink along the way, get out of the vehicle to stretch your legs, and watch the sunset. Return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 13: Overnight Travel

After your morning game drive and breakfast, check out and be transferred to the Hoedspruit Airport for your flight to Johannesburg. Upon arrival in Johannesburg at the O.R. Tambo International Airport, check in for your flight back home, arriving back home the following day.
