Overnight USA to Africa
Upon arrival at the Johannesburg Airport, go through passport control, collect your luggage, and proceed through customs. You will be met by your escort and then walk to the City Lodge O.R. Tambo Hotel, which is conveniently located next to the airport. Check into your standard rooms for one night on a Bed and breakfast basis. Dinner is on your own account.
After breakfast, check out of your accommodation and walk to the airport terminal for your international flight to Kasane, Botswana. Please ensure you check in at least 3 hours before departure.
Upon arrival at Kasane Airport, proceed through customs and collect your luggage. You’ll be met by your transfer representative and driven to Jackalberry Chobe Lodge, beautifully located on the banks of the Chobe River. If you’re a bird enthusiast, you’re in for a treat—this area is a haven for birdlife. Settle into your luxury tented accommodation for a 2-night stay.
Enjoy a relaxing lunch before heading out on your first game activity: a sunset cruise on the Chobe River. This is an exceptional opportunity to spot hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and a wide variety of bird species in their natural habitat.
Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
During your stay at Jackalberry Chobe Lodge, you’ll enjoy two safari activities each day—a game drive through Chobe National Park and a boat cruise on the Chobe River—offering a rich and varied wildlife experience from both land and water.
After your morning game drive and breakfast, check out and be transferred to the Kazangula border post to clear customs for entry into Zimbabwe. Be sure to have $30.00 in cash to pay for your single-entry Zimbabwe visa upon arrival at the border post. Cross the border and continue your transfer to the Shongwe Lookout Lodge in Victoria Falls. Check into your deluxe room for a 2-night stay.
Late this afternoon, be transferred to the Zambezi River for an unforgettable luxury Sunset Dinner Cruise on the Malachite vessel. Enjoy the abundant wildlife and the beautiful sunset scenes. A three-course meal and drinks are served along the way.
Start your day with a leisurely breakfast at the lodge.
After breakfast, set off on a guided tour of the spectacular Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Feel the mist on your face as you explore the paths and viewpoints that showcase the Falls’ awe-inspiring beauty.
Following your tour, stop by the Craft Market for some souvenir shopping, where you can browse a variety of handmade local goods and artwork.
Next, transfer to the Lookout Café, perched dramatically above the Batoka Gorge, for a scenic lunch (meal included; drinks at your own expense). If you’re feeling adventurous, optional adrenaline activities, such as the Gorge Swing or Flying Fox, are available at your own expense.
In the afternoon, visit the Wild Horizons Elephant Sanctuary, a unique and enriching experience. Begin with an educational talk about the sanctuary’s resident elephants—learning about their individual histories, how they came to be there, and the broader conservation challenges facing elephants in Africa.
You’ll then meet the elephants at the wallow deck, where you’ll have the chance to interact, feed, and take photos with these gentle giants. Witness the deep bond between the elephants and their caregivers—an inspiring glimpse into their shared trust and connection.

Day 7: Arrival in Cape Town
After breakfast, transfer to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight to Cape Town, South Africa. Upon arrival, proceed through passport control and customs, then meet your driver for a transfer to The Portswood Hotel, ideally located on the iconic Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.
Check in to your standard room for a 3-night stay on a Bed & Breakfast basis. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to explore the vibrant waterfront area.
Day 8: Cape Town Highlights & Winelands Experience
After breakfast, set off with your private driver/guide to explore the best of Cape Town.

Day 9: Cape Peninsula Tour

After breakfast, you will be collected from your hotel and transferred to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Hoedspruit, located in the Greater Kruger National Park region. Upon arrival at Hoedspruit Airport, meet your transfer representative and journey to Becks Safari Lodge, set within the pristine Karongwe Private Game Reserve. Check in to your Deluxe Safari Suite for a 3-night stay. Enjoy a relaxing lunch at the lodge before heading out on your first-afternoon game drive. Days 11 & 12: Safari Adventures
Your time at Becks Safari Lodge is all about immersive safari experiences and relaxation in the heart of the African bush. A typical day in the reserve includes an early morning wake-up call followed by coffee, tea, and light refreshments before setting off on your morning game drive. Early hours offer the best chance to see predators like lions and leopards still active from the night before. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and leisure time. You may choose to relax by the pool, enjoy the lodge’s serene surroundings, or indulge in a spa treatment.
In the late afternoon, gather for high tea before departing on your second safari drive of the day. Pause for a sundowner drink in the bush as the sun sets over the African landscape. Return to the lodge for a delicious dinner under the stars, followed by a peaceful night in your luxurious suite.
