Ntaba was wonderful to work with, they helped me plan a custom private tour for my clients who were thrilled with the results. I was especially impressed when things went wrong, the client accidentally left her passport on the transfer vehicle when arriving in South Africa at 11:30pm. I was able to get a hold of team members at Ntaba and within 12 hours she had it back in her possession! That is a great support system you can count on!

As a travel advisor, I’ve worked with Ntaba African Safaris to plan several safaris for my clients, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Their professionalism and organization are top-notch—every itinerary is thoughtfully designed, and logistics are always seamless. The team is incredibly responsive and always available to answer questions or jump on a Zoom call, which makes the planning process smooth and stress-free. My clients consistently rave about their experiences, describing their safaris as “the trip of a lifetime.” The overwhelmingly positive feedback and repeat bookings speak volumes. If you want a safari planning partner who is reliable, communicative, and truly cares about delivering exceptional experiences, Ntaba is the best choice!

Ntaba knows how to take you to Africa because they are natives to South Africa. Their passion for Africa shines through, not just because it's their business, but because it's their home. You can tell the owners and the guides have a true passion for sharing their home with others. They've established incredible relationships with the local businesses, tour vendors, and locals to the point, it seemed everywhere we went, our group leader was greeted with either a big smile, a hug, handshake or all of the above. I felt we were in good hands because of this. I would trust them with my Africa travel any day because it's their home and because of the incredible network of relationships they've established in each of their destinations.

We had an amazing time in South Africa and Zimbabwe with Ntaba African Safaris. The itinerary was well planned in that it offered a variety of experiences in each place, and the time we had in each place was ample enough to enjoy each experience. Visiting Africa has been a lifeline bucket list item and I am so thankful to Ntaba for making it a truly amazing experience.

Stella and her staff were absolutely fantastic in arranging our first African Safari. Their attention to detail was superb and our resulting experience was even better. Starting in Johannesburg with a wonderful boutique hotel then on to Victoria Falls, Savute Safari Lodge, Camp Okavango, then Camp Moremi, our memories will last a lifetime. Each step was carefully orchestrated with each Camp’s staffs fully briefed and prepared for our arrival. We saw tons of animals and made lifelong friends with other travelers from around the world. Great experience. I would encourage everyone to go at least once and ANTABA African Safaris is a great provider. Jim & Toni McIntyre

The itinerary, the local guides, the wildlife, and the amazing new friends made, were all fantastic. The experiences were positively life changing. The sunrises and sunsets were stunning. My daughter and I experienced what we know was the trip of lifetime, and we are grateful. If you are thinking about a trip to Africa, stop thinking and do it!

Your Journey, Day by Day:

Day 1: Overnight Travel

Overnight USA to Africa

Day 2-3: Chobe River Front

Arrive at Johannesburg Airport, pass passport control, and check in for your flight to Kasane, Botswana. Upon arrival, proceed through immigration and customs before meeting your transfer to Chobe Bakwena Lodge. Check into your Honeymoon Suite for a 2-night stay.

Enjoy a relaxing lunch before heading out on your first afternoon game activity—a breathtaking sunset boat cruise along the Chobe River. This unique perspective offers incredible sightings of elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and a diverse array of birdlife.

Over the next day, immerse yourself in the wild beauty of Chobe with two daily game activities:

  • River safaris offering close-up wildlife encounters from the water
  • Game drives in Chobe National Park, home to one of the largest concentrations of elephants in Africa

Return each evening to the comfort of the lodge for dinner and relaxation under the stars.

Days 4-6: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

After your morning game drive and breakfast at Chobe, check out and transfer across the border into Zimbabwe—please have $30 in cash ready for your visa on arrival.

Continue your journey to Chundu Island, a peaceful retreat set on the Zambezi River within Zambezi National Park. Check into your elegant Tented Suite for a 3-night stay and enjoy a leisurely lunch at the lodge.

That afternoon, head out on your first game drive, soaking in the beauty of the African bush and the golden hues of sunset. During your stay, take part in two daily game activities, choosing between thrilling game drives in open Land Rovers or tranquil river safaris—each offering excellent opportunities to spot wildlife and birds.

You’ll also have the option to enhance your stay with included activities such as:

  • A guided tour of Victoria Falls, one of the Natural Wonders of the World
  • Gorge swings, zip-lining, canoeing, fun fishing, and more adventure-filled experiences

Chundu Island offers the perfect blend of wildlife, water, and wonder—an ideal base for relaxation and exploration of the mighty Zambezi region.

Days 7-10: Cape Town

Day 8: Table Mountain, City Tour & Wine Tasting
Start the day with a visit to Table Mountain via cable car (weather permitting), or head to Signal Hill for sweeping views if the summit is closed. Stop at Jewel Africa for a fascinating diamond-cutting demonstration and explore handcrafted African jewelry and gifts.

Continue with a guided city tour, including a visit to Bo-Kaap, famous for its colourful houses and rich Cape Malay heritage. Then travel to Groot Constantia Wine Estate, South Africa’s oldest winery, for a cellar tour and tasting. Lunch is at a local restaurant (own expense). In the afternoon, visit Original T-Bag Designs in Hout Bay, a unique community upliftment project.

Return to your hotel for a free evening. Dinner is on your own and can be enjoyed at the hotel or one of the many restaurants on the V&A Waterfront.

Day 9: Cape Peninsula Adventure
Depart after breakfast for a full-day Cape Peninsula Tour with your private guide. Travel along the stunning coastline, passing Hout Bay and the dramatic Chapman’s Peak Drive en route to Cape Point, the most south-westerly tip of Africa.

After enjoying the spectacular views, stop for lunch in Simon’s Town (own expense), where you’ll hear the heartwarming tale of Just Nuisance, the famous naval dog. Then visit the African Penguin Colony at Boulders Beach for an up-close encounter.

End the day at the lush Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can explore indigenous flora and browse the excellent gift shop. Return to your hotel for another free evening.

Day 10: Leisure Day & Sunset Cruise
Enjoy a free morning and early afternoon in Cape Town. Choose from a range of optional activities such as:

  • Helicopter rides, Robben Island tours, or Shark cage diving
  • Snorkeling with sea lions or kayaking with penguins
  • Hop-on hop-off bus, electric bike tours, or relaxing at Camps Bay Beach
  • Visit the Two Oceans Aquarium or spend time shopping at the V&A Waterfront

Around 3:30 PM, make your way to the harbour for a romantic sunset cruise on the Atlantic Ocean. Sail across Table Bay with Table Mountain as your backdrop, toast the sunset with a glass of sparkling wine, and soak in the beauty of Cape Town’s golden hour. The cruise lasts approximately 90 minutes—a perfect way to end your South African adventure.

Days 11-13: Sabi Sand Nature Reserve

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to Cape Town Airport for your flight to Skukuza, located in the heart of South Africa’s safari country. Upon arrival, meet your driver/guide and continue to Dulini River Lodge in the exclusive Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve. Check into your suite for a 3-night stay. Enjoy lunch at the lodge before heading out on your first afternoon game drive.

Spend the next few days enjoying the peaceful surroundings of the lodge and the thrill of daily safaris.

A typical day in the game reserve:
Each morning begins with an early wake-up call and a light refreshment before heading out at first light. This is one of the best times to spot predators like lions or leopards returning from their nighttime hunt. Game drives are conducted in open safari vehicles with experienced rangers and trackers who help you find and learn about Africa’s amazing wildlife.

Between the morning and afternoon drives, enjoy free time to relax, go on a guided walking safari, or treat yourself to a spa session. In the late afternoon, gather for high tea before departing on your second safari of the day. Along the way, stop for a sundowner drink, stretch your legs, and take in the sunset over the African landscape. Return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and a peaceful evening.

Day 14: Overnight Travel

After your morning game drive and breakfast, check out and be transferred to the Skukuza  Airport for your flight to Johannesburg. Upon arrival in Johannesburg at the O.R. Tambo International Airport, check in for your flight back home, arriving back home the following day.

Day 15: End of Itinerary
